March 16, 2019 will be marked as a historic day in D.A.V. College’s history for having its 1st Graduation Ceremony. The college organized a prestigious graduation ceremony for the class of 2014 (BBA/BBS) at Hotel Himalaya.
 
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the chairperson, Mr. Anil Kedia(Chairman, D.A.V. College), Chief Guest, Prof.Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma (Dean, FOM, TU), Keynote Speaker, Mr. Kishore K. Maharjan (Founder CEO- Civil Bank/Sunrise Bank), Guest of Honors, Mr. Ghanshyam Thakur (Deputy Controller, TU), Mr. Dinesh Mani Ghimire (Asst. Dean, FOM, TU), Mr. Krishna Lal Maharjan (President, LCCI), Mr. Imran Khan (Vise President, IME Group, Sales). About hundred and twenty students of BBA and BBS took part in the ceremony along with their parents and families where the Topper from BBA Mr. Susan Khatiwada and Topper from BBS Ms. Juli Bajracharya was awarded with the gold medal.

The highlight of the event was the keynote address of Mr. Kishore K. Maharjan where he motivated the graduates to excel in the personal and professional career through his life experiences. He encouraged the graduates to stay updated about the local and global surrounding.

Similarly, chief guest, Prof. Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma elaborated the foundation of the management degree for the upliftment of the society and the economy and the role of D.A.V. College in producing enthusiastic human capital for the betterment of the society.

The closing remark was made by Chairperson Mr. Anil Kedia where he extended his gratitude towards the parents for trusting the College with their kin. He also congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to be a role model for the society. Among the parents of the graduates, two parents stood up in the podium and thanked the college for transforming their children. They expressed that sending their children to D.A.V. College was the best decision made.
