Out of 3659 colleges, Top 26 college has been selected based on average pass percentage of the last five years in Grade 12 exam.

Himal Magazine has published a list of Top 26 HSEB plus two colleges of Nepal 2072.

All the HSEB colleges fulfilling following criteria have been considered for the rankings:
- Colleges enrolling at least 30 students
- Colleges with pass percentage of 80% in Grade 12 Exam Results for last five years.

Out of 3659 colleges, Top 26 college has been selected based on average pass percentage of the last five years in Grade 12 exam.

In this ranking, Prasadi Academy maintains 1st position for the year 2014/15 (2072 B.S.) with an average pass percentage of 98.68 %.SOS Hermann Minor HSS Chitwan, SOS Hermann Minor HSS Pokhara, SOS Hermann Minor HSS Sano Bhaktapur and Sainik Aawasiya HSS Sallaghari Bhaktapur have been ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively in the rankings.
