Rukum: School students of Salyan district have not received a complete set of textbooks to this date even after four months have elapsed since the beginning of educational year.

Delay in dispatching textbooks has affected teaching learning activities in most of the schools of the district.

The curricular activities of lower secondary and secondary schools of Salyan have been thrown out of gear when the Saajha Publications failed to provide with textbooks to its distributers.

Students are yet to get the textbooks of geography, economics and health of secondary level, mathematics, English and vocational subject of lower secondary, informed Nabin Basnet, an 8th grader of Dhakadam lower secondary school.
