The Nepal Medical Council has published the results of the special examination conducted on 7 and 8 Shrawan, 2083. The overall pass percentage in this special examination is 93.48.

According to the results published by the council on Friday, out of a total of 1,130 candidates who participated in the examination, 947 have passed. Similarly, 65 have failed and 1 person was absent.

Out of 919 students who studied in Nepal, 904 (98.37 percent) passed. Similarly, 100 percent of the students who studied in Pakistan and the US and participated in the exam passed. Thirteen out of 17 participants from India (76.47 percent) passed. Eight out of 37 examinees from China (21.62 percent) and one participant from Belarus failed.

Looking at the results of educational institutions within Nepal, the performance of the majority of colleges and institutes has been excellent. 100% of the examinees of 14 colleges including Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Patan Institute of Health Sciences, Kantipur Dental College, Nepal Medical College, Nepal Army Institute of Health Sciences have passed.

Similarly, 84 out of 86 (97.67 percent) candidates from Maharajgunj Medical Campus and 98 out of 102 (96.08 percent) candidates from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences have succeeded in passing the exam.
