The Office of the Controller of Examination, Sano Thimi, has said that School Leaving Certificate (SLC) answer sheets of 27 out of 64 exam centres have been examined.

Exam Controller Bishnu Bahadur Dware, talking to eKantipur on Tuesday, informed that the answer sheets from the earthquake ravaged districts—Gorkha, Dhading, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dolakha—have been examined.

“Answer sheets are being examined in all the centres of every district,” informed Dware saying that the checking of the answer sheet was interrupted for few days following the April 25 earthquake, “The evaluated answer sheets are being brought to the Exam Controller’s office.”

A total of 574,685 students, including 145,183 in the exempted category, appeared for the SLC examinations that concluded on March 30, 2015.

As per the regulations, the SLC results should be published within three months of the date the exam concludes. “The SLC results will be published within three months any how,” said Dware. He further urged every students, parents and teachers not to believe unnecessary rumors regarding the SLC examinations that surfaced after the great quake.
