OCE starts printing SLC question papers
BHAKTAPUR: The Office of the Controller of the Examinations has started printing question papers for SLC exams set to begin from March 19. The question papers are being printed at state-owned Janak Education Materials Centre amid three-tier security.
Five officials from the OCE, including Examination Controller Bishnu Bahadur Dware, inspected the JEMC press yesterday night. Lekhnath Poudel, Deputy Controller, OCE, said, “Around 100 security personnel from the Nepal Army, the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have been deployed. Officials involved in printing question papers will not be allowed to make contact with the outer world, nor will be they allowed to meet or talk to family members until question papers are dispatched to districts.”
The printing will be completed within three weeks.
