Late Koirala to be cremated with state honor
An emergency Cabinet meeting held in Baluwatar on Tuesday decided to conduct funereal ceremony for former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala with state honor on Wednesday.
Endorsing the condolence proposal, the meeting also decided to announce public holiday on Wednesday in honor of late Koirala, informed Minister for Information and Communications Sher Dhan Rai.
The national flags will be kept at half-mast at all the public and government offices for three days starting today until Thursday. A condolence book will be kept at the Nepali diplomatic missions abroad including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
