Govt picks Dr Lamichhane as Member Secy at CTEVT
The interim government has picked Dr Ramhari Lamichhane as Member Secretary at the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the apex body of technical and vocational education and training on Thursday.
A cabinet meeting held this morning at the Office of the Prime Minister, Singha Durbar decided to appoint Dr Lamichhane who was director at the same body.
Likewise, the cabinet also approved the resignation furnished by four National Planning Commission’ officials including Vice-chairman Deependra Bahadur Kshetry.
Kshetry, Janak Raj Shah, Shiva Kumar Rai, and Abdur Karim Mikarani had put in their papers on Monday in the wake of change in the government leadership to what they called pave the way for fresh appointments in the national think-tank.
