"KUSOM Declared Best Management College "
Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) has been declared as the best management college of the country during the fifth NewBiz Business Schools Conclave and Awards held in the capital on Friday, June 21.

The organiser New Business Age Pvt Ltd also honoured 13 best management colleges of the country in recognition of their academic excellence in their respective categories during the awards ceremony.

The winners’ list includes one best college from each of the seven provinces (except Kathmandu Valley) and the top colleges in six other categories namely MBA, MBS, BBA, BBS, hotel management and public college.

Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) also succeeded in winning the titles of the Best MBA College as well as the Best BBA College.


Likewise, Aadikavi Bhanu Bhakta College was declared the Best MBS College of Nepal out of the total 1834 colleges across the country. Similarly, DAV College (Best BBS College), Asian Institute of College and Managament (Best Hotel Management College) and Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (Best Public College) won the awards in their respective categories.


Among the provinces, the titles of the best college in each province were awarded to Aastha College of Province 1, Birgunj Public College of Province 2, Presidency College of Management Sciences of Province 3 (out of Kathmandu Valley), LA Grandee International College of Gandaki Province, Tilottama Campus of Province 5, Midwestern University School of Management (MUSOM) of Karnali Province, and Kailali Multiple Campus of Sudur Paschhim Province.

During the event, the winning colleges expressed their happiness regarding the fairness of the jury in the selection process.


Representatives from different colleges, business houses and educational institutes participated in the awards ceremony sponsored by Everest Bank. This is fifth edition of the event which was co-sponsored by Prabhu Bank, Laxmi Bank and NMB Bank. Likewise the event was supported by NLG Insurance, Surya Life, Vibor Capital Ltd, Insurance Board and Saujanya Media as media partner.
