Nepal Microfinance Bankers’ Association (NMBA) is a non-profit and member based organization and was registered at District Administration office in Kathmandu in 2006. It is a network of Class “D” microfinance financial institutions of Nepal and is also considered as an apex body of the institutions. NMBA invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for the following two positions.

> Executive Director (Based in Head Office, Bhagabati Bahal, Kathmandu)
The Executive Director will be the Chief Executive of NMBA and will be responsible of overseeing the overall operational and administrative management of institution which include laison, coordination, support and capacity building of member institutions  and day to day office management. Detail terms of reference will be provided on request.


Preferred Qualifications and Experience: University Degree, preferred Master Degree, in Social Science, Management or any other relevant disciplines; Ay least 10 years of cutting-edge work, experience in planning, managing, coordinating and operating development cooperation programs, projects preferably in microfinance and other related development sector.

> Program Officer- Micro Insurance (Based in Head Office, Bhagabati Bahal, Kathmandu)
he Program Officer will be responsible for day to day coordination of field activities and will also support the field staff at microfinance institutions and newly introduced micro insurance products that is being implemented jointly by NIA and NMBA now. Detail terms of reference will be provided on request.


Minimum Qualification and Requirements: Ay least Bachelor’s Degree in Management/ economics Masters’ Degree is preferred, general understanding at insurance and Micro Insurance in Nepal. Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, Good knowledge of MS Office package and Fluency in written as well as spoken English and Nepali.
