Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) is an autonomous government body formed on 11 March 1999 under The Nepal Engineering Council Act. It is a Statutory authority for planning, development and monitoring of engineering profession and education in Nepal.

VACANCY NOTICE
Nepal Engineering Council (NEC), Minbhawan, Kathmandu, (Established under Nepal Engineering Council Act, 2055), invites application from eligible candidates for Office Assistant (Non-Technical) Positions.  Based on the approval of the Public Service Commission dated 2082/06/09 and the decision of the Recruitment Committee on the same date, the vacant posts of the Council are to be filled permanently through an open competitive examination.

Minimum Educational Qualification:
SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

- Examination Type : Written, interview, and other methods specified in the syllabus.
- Syllabus: The syllabus for the advertised posts can be obtained from the Council’s website www.nec.gov.np under More/Notices/vacancy syllabus.
- Examination Centre: The examination centre will be within the Kathmandu Valley. All written examinations for all positions will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. The written examination schedule will be determined by the Public Service Commission.
- Application Fee: Rs. 600.

Age Limit
Candidates must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years. In the case of women and candidates with disabilities, they must not have exceeded 40 years. The age limit will not applicable for permanent employees currently serving in the Council.
