The Nepali Army, also referred as the Gorkhali Army, is the land service branch of the Nepali Armed Forces.

VACANCY NOTICE
The Nepali Army, Directorate of Recruitment Selection, Jungi Adda, invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens to fill Officer Cadet (Second Lieutenant/Lieutenant) positions. These vacant positions will be fulfilled through  open and inclusive competition.

Application Fee
- All candidates must compulsorily apply under the open category and pay an application fee of Rs. 1,000 (one thousand). Candidates applying under an inclusive category must pay an additional 20%, equivalent to Rs. 200, for each additional group.

Salary, Allowances, Rations, and Other Benefits
Salary, allowances, rations, and other facilities will be provided in accordance with the prevailing rules and provisions of the Nepal Army.

Application Deadline:
- Application period with regular fee: From 2083/04/29 (14 August 2026) to 2083/05/18 (3 September 2026).
- Application period with double fee: From 2083/05/19( 4 September 2026) to 2083/05/25 (10 September 2026).
- Applications must be submitted within office hours. If the final application date falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted on the next working day after that date.
