The Nepali Army, also referred as the Gorkhali Army, is the land service branch of the Nepali Armed Forces.

VACANCY NOTICE
Nepal Army, Recruitment Directorate, Jangi Adda invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens for the positions of Sainya (Military) under the approved quota. The vacant positions are to be fulffiled through open and inclusive competition.

Position: Sainya (General Soldier)
- No. of vacancies: 3000
- Application Fee Soldier Positions: Rs. 150/-; Additional Charges: For multiple group applications under the same advertisement, an additional 20% fee per group is required.

Age Limit
- Candidates should be between 18 and 22 years by the final application date 2082/01/27. (Born between 2060/01/27 and 2064/01/27)
- For serving Nepal Army personnel, the upper age limit is 26 years (Born on or after 2056/01/27).

For Serving Nepal Army Personnel:
- Should have completed at least 1 year of service by 2082/01/27.
- Should submit a recommendation letter from the unit chief.

Required Documents
Candidates must submit the following certified copies (self-attested) in a file folder. Originals must be presented during the application process:
- Nepalese Citizenship Certificate
- Academic Certificates: Transcripts, Character Certificate, and Original/Provisional Certificates for all educational levels.
- For certificates from foreign institutions, equivalency from Tribhuvan University is required.
- Additional Qualifications (if available): Extracurricular achievements or specialized training.
- For Dependents of Deceased or Disabled Army Personnel: Proof of dependency and verification of personnel's death or disability.

Application Deadline:
- Application Submission Period (Normal Fee): 2081/12/29 to 2082/01/27 (10 May 2025)
- Application Submission Period (Late Fee): 2082/01/28 to 2082/02/03 ( 17 May 2025)
- If the last date (normal or double fee) falls on a public holiday, applications will be accepted on the next working day.
