VACANCY NOTICE
Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd., a “B” Class financial institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, having network of 34 branches in Province 1 with its Corporate Office at Biratnagar, Morang is one of the pioneer development banks in the region invites application from the self-motivated, qualified & result oriented Nepali candidates to fill in the following positions.

1. Position: Information Security Officer (ISO) & Information Technology Department - Few
- At least 7 years of experience in bank and financial institutions specifically within the Information Security (InfoSec) or Information Technology (IT) Department, including direct operational exposure in InfoSec operations, risk assessment, compliance, vulnerability assessment and mitigation, incident management, Policy formation and implementation as per regulatory Guidelines for ISO.
- At least 5 years of experience in Bank and financial institutions including exposure in Core Banking System (Pumori Plus IV) administration, Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration, Virtual Infrastructure, Network and Firewall management, Server and Storage management, API Management for Information Technology Department.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a closely related technical field from a recognized university.
- For ISO – Preference shall be given to those having professional certifications on CISA, CISSP, CEH CISM etc.
- For Information Technology Department – Preference shall be given to those having certification in Microsoft SQL Database Administration and SQL Server Scripting.

2. Position: Branch Managers (BMs) - (Including for Corporate Branch, Biratnagar) – Few
- At least 4 years of work experience in bank and financial institutions with firsthand exposure in the areas of Operation, Credit and Marketing. Preference shall be given to those having exposure as Branch Manager in any BFIs.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Able to take challenges based on budgets & can lead the team.

3. Position: Legal Officer -1
- At least 2 years of work experience as an employee in the Law/ Credit Department or as Branch Manager in any BFIs.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law from a recognized university. Additionally; preference will be given to the candidates having master’s degree in the related field/ Management.

4. Position: Relationship Manager (RM)/Risk Officer (RO) – Credit – Few
- At least 3 years of work experience in bank and financial institutions with exposure in the areas of Credit Assessment and Marketing or Credit Risk Analyses. Preference shall be given to those who have already served as RM-Credit or Risk Officer in BFIs. However, Semi Qualified CA having exposure in banking audit may also apply.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Management or equivalent from a recognized university.

5. Position: Information Technology (IT) Staff – Required No. 1
- At least 2 years of work experience in bank and financial institutions including exposure in Pumori Plus Core Banking System, webpage design & other software development, Hardware, Networking (LAN, WAN), SQL, JAVA etc. and knowledge on General Banking Operations, Policies, Bylaws & NRB Directives related with BFIs.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from recognized university.

7. Position: Gold Tester (Including Birtamode, Budhabare, Jhapa, & Tharpu, Panchthar) – 3
- Minimum plus 2/proficiency Certificate Level from a recognized University. Candidates must possess working experience as a gold tester in any Bank and Financial Institutions for minimum of 2 years or 3 years in case of work experience in any established gold business houses. Candidates must be proficient in handling PC.

8. Position: Tr. Assistant (TA)-(including Harkatte of Ilam, Sukrabare & Basantapur of Terhathum)- Few
- Minimum Plus 2/Proficiency Certificate Level from a recognized university with aggregate of 45% marks. However candidates completed graduation in management with aggregate of 45% marks shall be given priority. Prior banking experience or an internship in Banking will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must be proficient in MS-Office and must be ready to relocate away from their home town.

Age Bar:
Eligible Candidates are allowed to apply as per the criteria age for Vacancy No. 1, 2 & 3, 21 years completed but not exceeding 45 years and for Vacancy No. 4, 5, 6 & 7, 18 years completed but not exceeding 35 years. In case of Female candidates additional age ceiling of 5 years in respective categories can be considered eligible.
