VACANCY NOTICE
Garima Bikas Bank Ltd., one of Nepal’s leading national-level development banks, invites applications from highly competent, result-oriented, dynamic, having strong communication skills and self-motivated Nepalese citizens for the following positions to strengthen its leadership team.

1. Branch Managers- Officer Level (Branches: Inside Kathmandu Valley, Dhangadi, Surkhet)
- Having at least Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Management/Economics or related field from recognized university.
- Having at least 5 years of working experience in Banking and Financial Institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of branch operation, credit appraisal/procedures and NRB directives and circulars with good knowledge in credit, operation, customer handling and marketing.

Age Criteria:
- Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer Level (additional 5 years can be considered for female applicants) as on application deadline.

2. Posiiton: Chartered Accountants – Officer Level
- No. of Vacancy: Few
- Qualified Chartered Accountants from ICAI or ICAN.
- Prior work experience, pre/post qualification in the banking sector audit will be considered an added advantage.

Age Criteria:
- Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer Level (additional 5 years can be considered for female applicants) as on application deadline.

3. Semi Qualified Chartered Accountants – (Senior Assistant/Supervisor): Few
- Semi Qualified Chartered Accountants from ICAI or ICAN.
- Prior work experience in the banking sector audit will be considered an added advantage.

Age Criteria:
- Age not exceeding 35 years for Assistant Level (additional 5 years can be considered for female applicants) as on application deadline.

4. Posiiton: Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO)

Qualification & Experience
- At least 15 years of banking experience
- Currently working at least in Senior Manager position in Class ‘A’ or Chief Manager Position in Class ‘B’ financial institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
- Master’s Degree or an equivalent qualification in Management, Finance, Economics or a related discipline from a recognised university.

Key Responsibilities
a. Business Leadership
- Lead the Bank’s core business functions, including credit business, resource mobilization, and transactional banking.
- Provide strategic leadership in corporate affairs, business development, research and innovation to achieve the Bank’s strategic objectives.

b. Operations and Control
- Oversee the Bank’s overall operations, ensuring operational efficiency, sound credit administration, effective risk management and strong internal controls.

c. Leadership & Management
- Assist the Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer in the overall management and control of the Bank.
- Provide strategic leadership to achieve the Bank’s vision, mission, business goals and long-term sustainable growth.
- Foster a high-performance culture by leading, motivating and developing employees across the organisation.
