VACANCY NOTICE
Garima Bikas Bank Ltd., one of the leading national level development bank invites application from highly competent, result oriented, energetic and self-motivated Nepalese citizens for the under mentioned positions in order to strengthen its existing human assets.

1. Chief Technology Officer (1) - Managerial Level
- Location: Head Office, Lazimpat Kathmandu
- Master’s Degree in IT/related subject from recognized university.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
- Compent knowledge of various networking systems concepts including email, firewall, client- servers, network security, network protocols, Microsoft Business Central etc.
- At least 7 years’ work experience in Commercial Banks/Development Banks including 5 years in Information Technology (IT) Department including exposure in Core Banking System & Hardware, Networking (LAN, WAN), SQL, JAVA etc. with sound knowledge on Banking Operations.
- Should have worked at least 3 years in Managerial Position.

2. Software Developer (Few)  - up to Officer Level
- Location: Head Office, Lazimpat Kathmandu
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years’ work experience as a Developer.
- Strong knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Travis CI, Jenkins, etc.
- Competent in configuring and managing databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Experience in managing application and web servers (Apache, Nginx).
- Solid Linux administration skills.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Understanding networking concepts (TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, etc.).
- Strong grasp of security principles and familiarity with web-based security tools and methodologies.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Officer (Few) - up to Officer Level
- Location: Head Office, Lazimpat Kathmandu
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Applied     Mathematics, or related fields from recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years’ work experience as a Developer/AI/ML/Data Science.
- Proficiency in a wide range of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms, with the ability to apply advanced analytics methods, including Bayesian statistics, clustering, text analysis, time series analysis, and neural networks on large-scale datasets.
- Expertise in at least one specialized area of application, such as Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Strong programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with popular ML frameworks like Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Expertise with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) along with their implementation in real-life applications.
- Experience in building end-to-end ML systems (MLOps).
- Experience in deploying code in web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI or Django.
- Good grasp of SQL/NoSQL databases and scripting skills, particularly within analytics platforms and data warehouses.
- Good grasp of software engineering concepts (SDLC, Version Control, CI/CD, Containerization and Scalability), programming concepts and tools/platforms like Git and Docker.
