The Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog), Central Office, Kamalpokhari (Information and Publication Section), has published an advertisement for open competitive Pre-Qualifying Unified examinations for the Non-Technical positions of Assistant Level 1st Class (Nayab Subba or equivalent) and Assistant Level 2nd Class (Kharidar or equivalent) in organized institutions (Sangathit Sanstha).

About Lok Sewa Pre-Qualifying Examination
Lok Sewa (PSC) conducts Pre-Qualification/Qualifying Exams or Pre-Tests for both civil service roles (e.g., Nayab Subba, Kharidar) and organized institutions (Sangathit Sanstha). The 100-mark objective examination features 50 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must pass this pre-qualification stage before being eligible to appear for the main written examination.

Minimum Educational Qualifications
For Assistant Level First Class Fifth Level or Equivalent
- Candidates should have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level, 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution.

For Assistant Level Second Class Fourth Level or Equivalent
- Candidates should have  passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or an equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.

Note: Candidates who passed the SLC or an equivalent examination after the implementation of grading system should have obtained a grade point of GPA 2 or above for consideration to have met the minimum qualification.

Age Limit
- As of the regular application deadline of 2083/04/26 BS, candidates must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years.
- Female and candidates with disabilities must not have exceeded 40 years of age.
- The age limit will not applicable to permanent employees currently serving in any organized institution. However, when an advertisement for the main examination is published, the age limit will applicable to everyone except employees serving in the concerned organized institution at that time.

Application Deadline:
- Regular application deadline: 2083/04/26 BS ( 11 August 2026)
- Deadline with double fee: 2083/05/02 BS ( 18 August 2026)
