Applications for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Program Entrance Test – 2012

Applications are invited for the BPT program under Kathmandu University. 

Eligibility Criteria
1. Must have successfully completed 10 + 2 years of education  or equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English as main subjects and  he/she should have secured not less than 50% marks in the subjects mentioned above put together and an overall aggregate of 50%.

OR
Completed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree recognised by the University with one of the following  subjects viz: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least one other prescribed science subject of the study up to the ancillary level and he/she should have scored not less than aggregate of 50% marks, provided that such candidate should have passed the earlier qualifying examination (10 + 2, I.Sc., or an equivalent examination) with the subjects Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English.

OR

The candidates who have completed prerequisite course equivalent to I.Sc. (Biological group) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects after Certificate Level in Health Sciences from Kathmandu University and having secured not less than 50% marks in the subjects mentioned above put together and an overall aggregate of 50%

OR

Completed Certificate level in physiotherapy with 50% marks or more.

2. Must be physically and mentally fit.

Application Form Submission Process and Deadline
The applicant must download the application form from  www.ku.edu.np or www.dhulikhelhospital.org  and completed application form along with the photocopies of the mark sheet of S.L.C. and transcript of 10+2 or equivalent examinations, character certificate, citizenship certificate and bank voucher worth NRs.2,500/- (non-refundable) of  Nepal Investment Bank, deposited in the name of KUSMS Saving Account Number: 005 8261140 (cash is not acceptable) submit to the Dean's office, School of Medical Sciences, Dhulikhel Hospital, Dhulikhel during office days from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM on or before 19 August 2012. Deposit can be made through any branches of Nepal Investment Bank.
