TU BSc (Bachelor of Science) Entrance Form Submission Deadline Extension Notice: 26 October 2025:
Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology (TUIoST), Dean's Office, Kirtipur, has published notice regarding deadline extension for submitting applications for the entrance examination of Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs for the 2082 session.
 
Key Details:
- Application Submission Deadline with Regular Fee (Rs 1,100) : Kartik 19, 2082 ; Wednesday (November 5, 2025)
- Application Submission Deadline with Double Fee (Rs 2,200): Kartik 20- 26, 2082 ; ( November 6-12, 2025)
- Entrance Card Distribution Starts from: Mangsir 1, 2082 ; Monday onwards (November 17, 2025)
- Entrance Examination Date and Time: Mangsir 6, 2082 ; (November 22, 2025) Saturday, 12 noon onwards
- Examination Center: will be published later based on the entrance examination form filled out by the examinees

Notes: Other arrangements for the entrance examination will be made in accordance with the previous notice.

Eligibility/Criteria
A. Students should have passed Must have passed Secondary Education 10+2 (Science) or Proficiency Certificate Level (I.Sc.) or equivalent examination with at least 100 marks in English.
1. For enrollment in the Biology group, students must have studied Chemistry, and Biology of 200 marks each and passed in the second division or score at least a final grade C in each subject.  They should have passed other subjects and secure atleast GPA 1.6.
2. For the enrollment in Physical Group, students must have studied Physics and Mathematics of 200 marks each and passed in the second division or score at least a final grade C in each subject.  They should have passed other subjects and secure atleast GPA 1.6.

B. For A Level Students
1. For enrollment in the Biology group, students must have passed Chemistry, and Biology scoring at least a Final Grade D (with or without small letter) each in both subjects. They should have passed other subjects and secure at least GPA E.
2. For the enrollment in Physical Group, students must have studied Physics and Mathematics scoring at least a Final Grade D (with or without small letter) each in both subjects.  They should have passed other subjects and secure atleast GPA E.

C. Those who have passed from international academic institutions must provide an equivalency certificate from the Curriculum Development Center, Sanothimi.

Students who have taken science subjects at a recognized educational institution or secondary school, failed up to two subjects in their Class 12 or equivalent examination, and applied for grade improvement with pending results are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination. However, if they do not meet the minimum requirements, they will not be admitted.
