Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) is the first State-owned and technical university of Nepal, established in accordance with the Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) Bill enacted by the Parliament in 2010. The constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University, Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS) and the Forestry Campus (Institute of Forestry-IOF) in Hetauda, together with Dean’s Office IAAS Rampur were merged, and AFU was established in Rampur, Chitwan.

Admission Notice
Agriculture and Forestry University, Dean Office, Rampur, Chitwan announces new admissions for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSc Ag) for the academic year 2081/82.

Candidates willing to sit for the entrance examination are requested to fill out the online form with a Marksheet, Character certificate, Citizenship photocopy, and passport-sized photos.

Eligibility for BSc Agriculture
After passing the SLC or equivalent examination, the candidate must have passed I.Sc (Science/Agriculture), 10+2 Science/Agriculture or equivalent examination and studied English, Chemistry, and Biology of 100 marks each and Physics & Mathematics of 50 marks each and secured least 50% or C Grade in these subjects with overall C+ Grade.

Entrance Exam Dates for BSc Forestry
> Application Form Submission Deadline: Bhadra 20, 2081 (September 05, 2024), up to 12 PM
> Date of Entrance Examination: Bhadra 28, 2081 (September 13, 2024), 11 AM
> Examination Centers: Rampur, Chitwan and Kathmandu
