Applications are invited for the B.Sc. in Nursing/Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc. MIT) and Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Medicine (B.Sc.Lab. Med.) Programs under Kathmandu University

> BSc. in Nursing/BPT Program:
Eligibility Criteria
Completed 10+2 year of education or equivalent qualification with Minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in Physics, Chemistry and Biology separately and minimum C in other subjects,

OR

Completed 10+2 year of education or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and should have secured an aggregate of 50% or more marks in the subjects mentioned above put together and aggregate of 50% overall. (Non grading system)


> Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc. MIT) Program
Eligibility Criteria
Successfully completed 10 + 2 years of education or equivalent with minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and minimum C in other subjects, or

Competed 10+2 year of education or Intermediate of Science (I.Sc.) or equivalent having 50 % in aggregate (Grand total) with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as main subject and should have secured not less than 50 % of marks in each subject (PCB),

OR

Completed Certificate level in Diagnostic Radiography with 50% marks or more and registered in related professional council.


> Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Medicine (B.Sc.Lab. Med.) Program
Eligibility Criteria
Successfully completed 10 + 2 years of education or equivalent with minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and minimum C in other subjects, or

Competed 10+2 year of education or Intermediate of Science (I.Sc.) or equivalent having 50 % in aggregate (Grand total) with Biology, Chemistry, Physics as main subject and should have secured not less than 50 % of marks in each subject (PCB) ,

OR

Completed Certificate level in Medical laboratory technology with 50% marks or more and registered in related professional council.


The applicants must fill up and submit online application form from www.kusms.edu.np with a copy of bank voucher of Nepal Investment Bank worth NRs.3000/- each form (non-refundable), deposited in the name of KUSMS Account Number: 00505030017934  on or before 22 August 2019 . Deposit can be made through any branches of Nepal Investment Bank.

Candidates who have submitted online application forms need to COLOR print their Admit Card by themselves and must bring on the day of entrance test. Candidates without their Admit Card will NOT be allowed to enter Examination Center

Entrance test result will be published at www.kusms.edu.np or www.dhulikhelhospital.org

This Examination will be valid for the Academic Year 2019 only.   
> Candidates are instructed to read their eligibility criteria before depositing the bank voucher and submission of online application.
> Candidate submitting wrong information in their online application form will not be allowed to enter counseling session even though the candidate may have passed the Entrance Examination. Such candidate's entrance examination will be automatically cancelled if it does not meet the requirements of the University.

Bachelor in Nursing Science (BNS) / Bachelor of Midwifery (B.Mid) and Certificate Level in Nursing Program


Entrance Examination 2019 August Session

Applications are invited for the Bachelor in Nursing Science/ Bachelor of Midwifery and Certificate Level in Nursing Program of Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences.


1. Bachelor in Nursing Science and Bachelor of Midwifery

Eligibility Criteria
> Successfully completed 3 years certificate level of nursing from a recognized institution and should have secured an aggregate of 50% or more marks.
> Should have minimum of One year work experience (by 31 July 2019) after successful completion of the certificate nursing course.
> Be registered with Nepal Nursing council

Course duration: 4 years


2. Certificate Level in Nursing Program
Eligibility Criteria
> SEE - Minimum C grade in all subjects or equivalent degree. Or SLC – Minimum second division.
> Course duration: 3 years
> Total Seat Available: 40
> Selection will be according to regional & merit basis.


Application Form Submission Process and Deadline
The applicants must fill up and submit online application form from www.kusms.edu.np with a copy of bank voucher of Nepal Investment Bank worth NRs.3000/- for Bachelor level and NRs. 1000/- for certificate Level for each form (non-refundable), deposited in the name of KUSMS Account Number: 00505030017934 on or before 31 July 2019 before 24:00 hrs. Deposit can be made through any branches of Nepal Investment Bank.

Candidates who have submitted online application forms will get Admit Card after the form verification with Seat Number which should be color printed and must bring to enter in the examination hall.
