The British College Graduation Ceremony 2022

On 9th September, The British College held the Graduation Ceremony 2022 at The Hyatt Regency Hotel, to celebrate the conferment of awards for Leeds Beckett University (LBU) and The University of the West of England (UWE).

This year the College welcomed more graduates than ever before, with a total of 415 and as such hosted two ceremonies with Business students graduating in the morning and IT students graduating in the afternoon.

Distinguished guests from Nepal and the UK were in attendance, the Business Pursuit Manager for the British Council, Christina Kansakar; the Head of International Partnerships, Patricia Voaden; UWE Country Manager for Nepal, Sujan Ghimire; the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academics, Phil Cardew; LBU Regional Head for South Asia, Jayashree Raghuram.

Joining them were some of the Advisors to the College, including Paul Cleves, Dr Arjun Kumar Karki, Michael Rutland, Dr. (H.C.) and Chiran Thapa; two Industry Advisory Board members, Tim Gocher and Siddhant Raj Pandey - and a member of the British Education Group's Board of Directors, Isabelle Onions. Each one succeeded in their studies through the pandemic and are now receiving a degree from a British Accreditation Council-approved College.

Special guests then delivered inspiring speeches and representatives from the partner British universities presented the awards.
