The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has published a list of 342 schools that have so far declined to offer students with scholarships in accordance with the criteria.On May 24, the city requested that all schools award scholarships to 10% of their students and post the information on their individual websites.

The KMC has set June 11 as the new deadline for schools to post scholarship data by June 11.While publishing a list of schools that have not provided scholarship details, the KMC has warned that schools that flout its rule would have their permit removed.

Through frequent reminders, the KMC underlines the necessity of schools swiftly complying with the submission obligation.
