The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Education Department, has published result of Grade 8 Basic Level Examination (BLE) for the academic session 2082.

About Grade 8 Basic Level Examination (BLE)
In Nepal, eighth-grade students take the Basic Level Examination, often known as the BLE, at the metro/municipality level. In Nepal, the Grade 8 Basic Level Examination (BLE) is a district-by-district national exam. To advance to the ninth grade, all Nepalese students in the eighth grade must take this nationwide exam. The District Education Offices around the nation oversee the administration of the test. Every year, during the last month of the Nepali calendar, Chaitra, this exam is administered.

Grade 8 BLE 2082
The examination of Grade Eight (8)-BLE 2082 began from Chaitra 5, 2082 (19 March 2026, Thursday) and concluded on 12th of Chaitra, 2082 (26 March 2026, Thursday). The examination was held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Last year, result of Grade 8 BLE Examination for academic session 2081 was published on 29 Chaitra 2081.

As per official notice, schools can now access and download the Grade-wise Ledger of their students through the Integrated Educational Management Information System (IEMIS) portal .

Class 8 BLE Grade Increment (Supplementary) Exam Routine 2082-2083
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has also published the schedule for the Grade Increment exams for students who received an 'NG' (Not Graded) in their results.
The Grade Increment (Supplementary) exams begins from Baishakh 6 and ends on Baishakh 12, 2083, and will be held at designated resource center schools..[ VIEW EXAM ROUTINE ]
