Far Western University was established in 2010 A.D. (2067 B.S.) by the Act of the Constituent Assembly by the Government of Nepal. Administratively Far-western University came into operation after the appointment of the university officials in 2011 AD.

Far Western University's Examination Controller Office in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, has published a notice regarding the application process for the 5th Convocation, which is scheduled for 2081 B.S.. This notification will inform all eligible Bachelor's, Master's, and M.Phil. graduates about the procedures for participating in this significant academic event.

Eligibility
Students who have completed their Bachelor's, Master's, and MPhil degrees and received their transcripts between Chaitra 21, 2080 to Falgun 08, 2081 (April 03, 2024 to February 20, 2025) under semester or annual examination systems are eligible to participate in the convocation ceremony.

Master's Graduates
> Convocation Fee: Rs. 2000 (Non-refundable)
> Gown/Scarf/Cap Deposit: Rs. 4000 (Refundable)

M.Phil. Graduates
> Convocation Fee: Rs. 2000 (Non-refundable)
> Gown/Scarf/Cap Deposit: Rs. 4000 (Refundable)
