Course Description:

The B.Sc. in Tea Technology and Management (TTM) under Tribhuvan University is a 4-year undergraduate program which is designed to cater to the growing demand for qualified professionals in the tea industry, particularly in Nepal, where tea cultivation and production have become significant economic activities.

The program aims to produce skilled professionals capable of contributing to all facets of the tea industry from cultivation and processing to marketing and management.  Within four academic years the programme has allocated Basic Science Course, Technology Course, Practically based management and field works.

The course spans four academic years and integrates a blend of basic sciences, technology courses, practical management training, and fieldwork. The curriculum is designed to cover the scientific, technical, and managerial aspects of tea production comprehensively.

2. To initiate conservation of environment adopting eco-friendly Tea Plantation and Culture Method
