VACANCY NOTICE
Excel Development Bank Limited, is a “B” class financial institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, with its network spread across Koshi Province and its Central Office located at Birtamod, Jhapa. The bank invites applications from self-motivated, qualified, and result-oriented Nepali citizens to fulfill the following positions immediately.

1. Head-Finance - 1 (Position-Negotiable)
- At least 7 years of experience in banks or financial institutions in the internal audit/accounting function, with a minimum two year of experience as Head-Finance/internal audit in banks or financial institutions.
- Minimum Master degree in management/economics or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.
- CA/Semi-CA are preferred.

2. Risk Officer-1 (Position-Negotiable)
- At least 5 years working experiences in Credit Risk Department/Unit or Credit Department/Unit of BFIs.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Management/Accountancy (CA/Semi-CA) from recognized Universities/Institutions.

3. Branch Manager - 10
(Junior Officer to Senior Officer)
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial bank/national level development bank with at least 1 year inclusive period of experience as Branch Manager.
- Minimum Bachelors Degrees in Management/Economics or equivalent from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.

4. Legal Officer - 1 (Position-Negotiable)
- Working experience in BFIs is preferable.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Law from a recognized University.

5. Software Developer - 1 (Position-Negotiable)
- At least 3 years of experience in BFIs with at least 1 year inclusive period of experience in software developed related function.
-  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a recognized university.

6. Semi Qualified CA - 2 (Position-Negotiable)
- Working experience in BFIs is preferable.
- Having exposure in banking are encouraged.

7. Relationship Manager - Few (Position-Assistant)
- At least 3 years of experience in BFIs with at least 1 year inclusive period of experience in credit/marketing related function.
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Management/Economics or equivalent from a recognized university.

8. Security Officer-1 (Position Negotiable)
Retired personnel from Nepal Police (Civil/Armed) at the rank of Sub-inspector/Inspector with a minimum 5 years experiences in security management, intelligence including CCTV surveillance monitoring related

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct continuous real-time CCTV monitoring of assigned branch premises, ATMs, and vulnerable points during non-operational / night-hours.
- Ensure prompt threat identification, immediate reporting, and escalation of unauthorized entry, perimeter breaches, or suspicious activity.
- Maintain direct liaison with local police stations, emergency control rooms, and bank management during night incidents.
- Maintain daily night-shift incident logs, surveillance logs, and system discrepancy reports.
- Periodically verify remote system health, camera feeds, and security alarm functionality across all covered branches.

Other Technical Knowledges/Attributes:
- Practical knowledge of CCTV monitoring equipment, DVR/NVR systems, remote alarm systems, and basic computer operation.
- High alertness, ability to work dedicated night shifts, sharp crisis-handling skills etc.

9. Gold Tester - 3 (Position-Negotiable)
(For Biratnagar, Belbari and Phidim Branch)
- Minimum SLC/SEE pass. Vocational training certification in gold/jewelry appraisal or assaying will be advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Gold Tester in BFIs/gold business houses.

10. Trainee Assistant - Few
(For Ilam, Mangalbare, Fikkal, Gaurigunj, PathariSanischare and Letang Branch)
- Fresher can apply.
- Bachelors Degree in Management/Computer Science from a recognized university securing minimum 50% or equivalent aggregate marks.
- Only Higher Secondary Level (+2) or an equivalent degree will be accepted from deserving internal applicants.
- Age requirement for Trainee Assistant will be maximum 28 years.
