With the main objective of providing institutional credit for enhancing the production and productivity of the agricultural sector in the country, the Agricultural Development Bank, Nepal was established in 1968 under the ADBN Act 1967, as successor to the cooperative Bank. The bank has been working as a premier rural credit institution since the last three decades, contributing a more than 67 percent of institutional credit supply in the country.

VACANCY NOTICE
Agricultural Development Bank Limited, Human Resource Management Department, Head Office, Kathmandu, invites application from eligible candidates for the various Assistant and Officer Level positions. These vacant positions are to be fulfilled by open and inclusive competitive examination. The examination will be conducted by Lok Sewa aayog.

Position: Assistant and Officer Level
- Total no. of vacancies: 242
- Level : Officer 8th and 6th, Assistant 4th Level
- Service/ Group: Administrative
- Qualification: +2/ CA/ACCA/ Master

Key Details
- Type of Service: Permanent
- Salary, Allowances, and Benefits: As per prevailing bank rules
- Written Exam Schedule and Venue: The Public Service Commission will conduct all written exams. The Commission will publish the date, time, location, and exam center.
- Probation Period: Male : One year, Female: Six months

Application Fees:
For each advertisement, applicants must pay the following fees:
- For Officer Level (Level 6 and 8): NPR 1,000 for open category; NPR 400 additional for each inclusive group.
- For Assistant Level (Level 4): NPR 800 for open category; NPR 400 additional for each inclusive group.
- If applying under one inclusive group only, the fee applicable for the open category must still be paid. Fees for rejected applications will not be refunded.

Age Limit:
- For Level 4: Should have completed 18 years and should not exceed 35 years as of the deadline.
- For Level 6:  Should have completed 18 years and should not exceed 35 years
- For Level 8:  Should have completed 21 years and should not exceed 45 years
- For women and persons with disabilities, the upper age limit is 40 years for Levels 4 and 6.
- There will be no age limit for permanent employees currently serving at ADBL.
