Every society and community is driven by a handful but powerful ideas, events and people. The world of management, as we know is pervasive and often a home to these driving forces.

With the theme “Where managers of today and tomorrow converge”, we are back with Nepal Management Symposium (NMS), the annual event of KCM Student Council, for the second time after its huge success in 2011.

NMS ‘12 is a forward looking concept, event and a platform to bind management professionals, enthusiasts and aspirants; a common hub for students, managers, entrepreneurs, academicians, policy makers, consultants and other stakeholders in the world of management.

At Nepal Management Symposium, we believe in convergence of powerful ideas and those who can make these ideas work. We want to explore issues and gaps that shape the discussions and decisions of the opinion leaders of today and tomorrow. We envision inspiring change agents of tomorrow and in turn be inspired by the possibilities and frontiers ahead.

Event details:
> NMS’12 will host college students from various business schools from all over Nepal and corporate participants from various industries in a 2 day program on May 18-19 at a 4 or a 5 star hotel in the valley.
> The two day event will be divided into local and regional management issues. There will be a total of 6 sessions on the local issues in Day 1 and Day 2.
> Sessions will have panellists from corporate sectors, relevant industries and students presenting on suitable themes under the session topics.
> Every session will be followed by high tea where industry participants get to interact with young minds interested in their respective areas. A CV database will be compiled from the participating students and will be provided to the participating corporate guest for future referral and hiring possibilities.
> Concluding the local sessions will be a conclusive whitepaper on the topics discussed and the workshop held in two days which will be uploaded in the dedicated website of the event.

The session topics for the event will be based on a suitable theme from among a number of sectors and functional areas like
