Manmohan Technical University is the first technical university in Nepal, founded by Koshi Province Government of Nepal. Manmohan Memorial Polytechnic with well facilitated labs, workshops, classrooms and all infrastructure was overtaken by Koshi Province Government of Nepal and transformed into a Technical University.

Manmohan Technical University - School of Engineering under Manmohan Technical University has published entrance examination notice 2081/82. It offers Bachelor of Civil Engineering ( 48 Seats)  and Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering ( 24 Seats).

Bachelor of Civil Engineering ( 48 Seats)
This curriculum is designed with the purpose of producing high level technical manpower equipped with knowledge and skills related to the field of Civil Engineering to meet national and international demand for economic and infrastructure development.

Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering ( 24 Seats)
This curriculum is designed with the purpose of producing high level technical manpower equipped with knowledge and skills related to the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering to meet national and international demand for economic and infrastructure development.

Duration:
The total duration of this curricular program is Four years. Each year consists of two semesters of six months each. Moreover, one semester consists of 90 working days (15 academic weeks approximately) including evaluation period

Eligibility Criteria For Admission
> In order to be fully eligible for admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 level (or equivalent) with Math (in 11 and 12), Physics, Chemistry and should have final grade at least C in all subjects.  For percentage scale at least 45 percentage overall.
> Candidates must have appeared in Manmohan Technical University Engineering Entrance Test (MEET-CBT) and obtained the required threshold score 35 or more in the test.
> Candidates who have passed all courses of Grade XI  and are waiting for Grade Increment Exam of grade XII are also eligible for provisional admission if the candidate is able to score pass marks in MEET-CBT 2024 entrance exam. Rules and other details regarding provisional admission will  be made public during the admission offer call.
> For International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students must have at least 6 courses of PCM. Students must have a final IB grade of 3 in each course separately.

> Candidates with Nepali citizenship who have completed +2 equivalents with foreign educational boards shall be submitting the equivalent certificate.
> In case of a dispute related to application, eligibility, CBT exam and CBT score, the decision of MTU Engineering Bachelor Level Entrance Conduction, Management and Admission Committee 2081 will be final.
