Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) is the first State-owned and technical university of Nepal, established in accordance with the Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) Bill enacted by the Parliament in 2010. The constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University, Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS) and the Forestry Campus (Institute of Forestry-IOF) in Hetauda, together with Dean’s Office IAAS Rampur were merged, and AFU was established in Rampur, Chitwan.

- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.) - 4 years
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry ( B.V.Sc. & A.H.) - 5 years
- Bachelor of Science in Fisheries ( B.Ed. Fisheries) - 4 years
- Bachelor of Science in Forestry ( B.Sc. Forestry) - 4 years

- Entrance Examination Center:Rampur (Chitwan), Hetauda ( Makwanpur), Kathmandu, Janakpur (Dhanusha), Itahari (Sunsari) and Nepalgunj (Banke)

- Admission Begins: From 24 Bhadra 2083 to Bhadra End

Entrance Exam Syllabus:
The entrance exam will cover the following subjects from the 10+2 curriculum with multiple-choice questions:
> English - 22
> Chemistry - 22
> Zoology - 22
> Botany - 22
> Mathematics - 12
> Physics - 12
> General Knowledge - 8

There will be 120 questions, with a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
