Tribhuvan University has been included in the rankings for the third consecutive year. Every year Times Higher Education magazine ranks universities around the world using a methodology that evaluates Teaching, Research, Citations, Industry Income, and International Outlook.

Established in 1959 A.D, Tribhuvan University is the most popular and the first national institution of higher education in Nepal. Tribhuvan University is the 11th largest university in the world, in terms of the number of students enrolled.
