DAV International College affiliated to Far Western University (FWU), organised the 1st Inter-College Friendly Futsal Tournament successfully at the college premises on February 22.

A total of four CSIT colleges from the Kathmandu valley participated in the tournamnet. The competing teams represented Himalaya College, Maharishi College, Shikshyala College, and the host institution, DAV International College.

After a series of thrilling matches, Himalaya College emerged as the champion, securing the Champions Trophy of the tournament.To recognize the dedication and sportsmanship of all participant teams, each player was awarded a certificate of participation for showcasing brilliant sportsmanship on the ground.

The primary objective of the tournament wasto promote friendship and co-operation among CSIT colleges and enhance physical fitness and well-being through sports activities.

According to Mr. Shashi Bhushan Chaturvedi, Head of DAV International College, the tournament successfully achieved its goal of fostering unity and collaboration among CSIT colleges while promoting a healthy competitive spirit among students.
