The National Examinations Board, Examinations Control Office has published the results of this year's Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) 2081 BS.

Under regular category, out of 438,896 students, 61.81% (271,299) have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2081. A total of 167,597 students received NG (Non-Graded).

According to the results under regular category, Eight students got 1.60 to 2 GPA. Similarly, 4,126 students got GPA 2 to 2.40, 48479 students got GPA 2.40 to 2.80, 89,124 students got GPA 2.80 to 3.20 and 81,385 students got GPA 3.20 to 3.60.  Likewise, 48,177 students scored from 3.60 to 4 , the NEB stated.

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE), attended by 514071 students, was held from March 20 to April 1, 2025 this year. 421,585 regular students particiated in the SEE this year, included 209,705 female and 211,857 male students. .The SEE exam was administered through 2,079 exam centers.Students from 11,216 secondary schools nationwide have taken part in SEE. Approximately 16,000 technical stream students took part in the SEE.  A total of 37 students from Japan participated for the exam this year.

Last year, SEE 2024 (2080) result was published on 27 June 2024 (13 Asar 2081) . According to the last year results, of 464,785 examinees, a total of 242,313 failed or got none-grade (NG). Only 47.86 per cent of students passed the exams last year.

NEB has authorised various government and private institutions to disseminate the results through multiple platforms. Students can check their SEE results via various official websites, SMS, and IVR services.

Next Steps for Students
1. Eligibility for Supplementary (Grade Improvement) Examination
All the candidates who participated as regular candidates in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which was held from Chaitra 7, 2081 and were unable to obtain grades or were absent are eligible to participate in Supplementary Examination.

The SEE Supplementary examination starts from Sharwan 29, 2082 ( Thursday)  and ends on Bhadra 6, 2082 (Friday).

2. Re-evaluation: Students can apply online to have their answer sheets rechecked.
NEB has opened the application process for re-totaling of SEE 2081 results. Students who participated in the regular or grade increment examination of 2081 and are dissatisfied with their grades obtained can apply for re-totaling by submitting an online application by 5:00 PM on Ashadh 23, 2082.

3. Corrections: Errors in age, name, or surname can be corrected by submitting the necessary documents.

4. Unclear Results: If results are unclear, students should submit an application with their admit card details.

2. Percentage Achieved: 80 to below 90
