National Licensure Examination for Veterinarians (NLEV) Notice from Nepal Veterinary Council
The National Licensure Examination for Veterinarians (NLEV), developed by the Nepal Veterinary Council, is a requirement for Council registration. All recent graduates of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), B.V.Sc., D.V.M., or M.Sc. (Vet.) programs are required to take this examination.
In order to determine whether entry-level veterinarians are eligible to become registered veterinarians and start their professional practice, the NLEV evaluates their knowledge and abilities related to their regular job tasks.
Nepal Veterinary Council was established in 1998 AD to ensure quality veterinary service through qualified veterinary human resources for fight animal diseases.It is Nepal's highest veterinary authority, having been constituted as a national veterinary legislative body.

National Licensure Examination for Veterinarians (NLEV) Examination is mandatory for all new graduates of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), B.V.Sc., D.V.M., or M.Sc. (Vet.) programs.
Interested candidates should submit their application through the Veterinary Council Online System (VCOS).
