Kathmandu: International Management Institute (IMI) of Nepal, a corporate training institute in Putalisadak has recently introduced four different diploma courses, each of which are four months long.

The courses offered are on sales management, supply chain and purchase management, brand management and risk management.The diploma courses are affiliated to Bombay University in India and DY Patil University of Bombay.

“Many corporate companies realize that we lack qualified manpower so the diploma course is to provide practical exposure to students so that they can enter job market with better skills,” said B.R Sharma, Managing Director of IMI.

He further informed that the courses will be useful for those management students who are on the look out for jobs and need short training courses.

Sharma said that the job oriented specialized diploma courses is for fresh graduates and also for those who are already employed and want to learn new courses.

IMI also conducts regular workshops on sales and customer services and also has regular one month training classes in professional banking.

IMI was established in 2007 under the initiation of a group of dynamic entrepreneurs, eminent professionals and distinguished academicians in order to make education more effective and productive.

The cost for each diploma courses offered is Rs 30,000.
