British Professional College and ACCA Successfully Conduct IFRS / NFRS Workshop for Educators in Pokhara
Pokhara, Nepal | 9 June 2026 – British Professional College (BPC), operating under the umbrella of British Education Group and a Platinum Status ACCA Provider, in collaboration with ACCA, successfully organized the Accounting Educators Workshop on IFRS and NFRS at Pokhara Event Centre on 6 June 2026.
The workshop brought together more than 200 accountancy and finance educators from over 150 schools and colleges, making it one of the largest professional development gatherings for educators in the region. The event aimed to strengthen participants' understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) while promoting excellence in accounting education.
The technical sessions were facilitated by Mr. Bikrant Acharya, FCCA, who shared practical insights on current accounting practices, financial reporting standards, and emerging industry trends.
Speaking on the occasion, Dipendra K. Shrestha, Head of Professional Education at British Education Group (BEG), said, “The enthusiastic participation of educators reflects the growing commitment towards enhancing the quality of accounting education in Nepal.
