Established in 2006, KIST Medical College is one of Nepal's leading private medical institutions, affiliated with the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University.  The College is run by the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee. It has its own full-fledged teaching hospital with 300 beds and a separate dental hospital.

Located in Imadol, Lalitpur, just a few kilometres from Kathmandu, the college has earned a strong reputation for delivering quality medical education through experienced faculty, modern laboratories, and patient-centred clinical training. Its teaching hospital serves as a major healthcare centre, allowing students to gain practical exposure from the early years of medical education.
