Course Description:

On completion of the MD (General Practice) Residency training programme, the graduate will be able to provide comprehensive and effective management of common health problems including timely emergency and life saving surgeical and obstetrical intervention.

Course Outline:
This rotation schedule attempts to provide trainers with experience in fundamental areas of knowledge as skill development prior to becoming involved in work experiences outside the Kathmandu valley.

Eligibility Criteria:
> The candidate must have completed MBBS or equivalent course including internship.
> Candidates must be registered with the Nepal Medical Council.
> New rules or regulations formulated by Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine will apply to this programme as they come into effect.
> One year experience in any government, university or charitable hospital.
