Course Description:
The CTEVT PCL in Physiotherapy program aims to produce middle level human resources equipped with knowledge and skills related to the field of physiotherapy so as to meet the demand of such workforce in the country and to contribute in the national streamline of poverty reduction of Nepal.
Objectives
Upon completing this program, graduates will be able to:
- Apply the knowledge and skills of physiotherapy in different human health conditions in community and clinical settings.
- Demonstrate the professional competence, self- awareness, integrity, respect of individual, ethical, and social responsibilities.
- Assist physiotherapists in patient assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation procedures.
- Counsel patient for follow up, care and related health problem.
- Identify referral cases and refer.
- Work with the multidisciplinary team in various settings
Graduates can pursue careers in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community facilities, adhering to the professional code of conduct established by the Nepal Health Professional Council.

Entry qualification:
The applicant for entry qualification for Certificate in Physiotherapy program will be SLC pass or equivalent or Technical SLC (TSLC) in related subject.
Syllabus
The PCL in Physiotherapy program spans three academic years. The first year focuses on foundational subjects, the second year combines theoretical and practical aspects of core physiotherapy topics, and the third year emphasizes specialized subjects, allowing students to apply their skills in clinical and community settings.
