Course Description:
The Master of Arts (MA) in Home Science course, a pioneering program in Nepal since 2036 B.S, offers specialization course in the discipline integrates Food and Nutrition, Child Development and Gender Socialization with aimed to produce competency, skilled human resources and provide quality education for women empowerment promote healthier individuals, empowered women, and socially conscious communities.
Students gain a strong theoretical knowledge foundation supported by practical training through laboratory work, internships, seminars, workshops, and community engagement programs. The department offers specialized streams in Food and Nutrition, and Child Development and Gender Socialization, preparing graduates are successfully involved in their careers such as nutrition counseling, education, research, NGOs/INGOs, and policy fields.

Candidate must have passed his/her BA Home Science or B. Sc. Home Science from any university that is recognized by Tribhuvan University.
