Course Description:

The MSW program offers both theoretical and practical knowledge and Skills on SOCIAL WORK. The entire MSW course is highly participatory and students are expected to take active interaction in the class room discussions periodic seminars, workshops and fieldwork. The Masters of Arts in Social Work (MSW) is a course designed for giving extensive knowledge on various factors of social welfare and functions like mental health, child welfare, health, organizational leadership or families.

Master in Social Work (MSW) Programme under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Tribhuvan University offers both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills on SOCIAL WORK. The entire courses are highly participatory and students are expected to be actively engaged in presentation, participation in discussion and interaction in the class room activities, periodic seminars, workshops and fieldwork.

Admission info

Eligibility to take admission in the MSW program:
Completion of Bachelor Degree with at least second division or 2.0 CGPA in any discipline recognized by Tribhuvan University. Also securing an acceptable level or ranking in the entrance exam will be essential. The entrance exam will test the prospective students’ language proficiency and analytical abilities.
