Course Description:

The Master of Science in Construction Management program prepares graduates and professionals with an engineering background in the built environment (civil engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, and consultants) for rewarding management careers in the construction industry. The course aims to transform students into effective construction managers, executives, and entrepreneurs capable of acting as strategic change agents in the business and social worlds, resulting in corporate change in Nepal.

Graduates can find work as project managers in construction and engineering consulting firms, as well as as managers/leaders of public and private construction business units.

The specific objectives of the program are as follows:
> To provide students a firm grasp of broad-based and integrated fundamentals of construction management with real-life applications.
> To develop professional construction managers who can effectively lead construction projects in a highly dynamic and competitive global construction business environment

Admission info

Eligibility
> Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Hydropower Engineering, and Architecture or its equivalent from recognized University/ Institution.
> Minimum CGPA 2.0 in bachelor level exam from Pokhara University or Minimum 2nd division or equivalent grade in the bachelor's degree from other university/ institution.

Syllabus

Curricular Structure
A student has to successfully complete 45 credit hours of academic work and 15 credit hours of research project for graduation.
