Established in 1994, Nepal Engineering College (nec) is a renowned academic institute founded by a group of visionary professionals and academicians who recognized the need for an institution that could contribute to the country's economic growth through engineering and technology education. nec is a not-for-profit social institute registered with the District Administration Office in Bhaktapur.
