Course Description:
The Bachelor in Nursing Science (BNS) program of Pokhara University is a 3 years course which aims to prepare professional nurses equipped with knowledge, skills and attitude to provide collaborative and independent quality nursing care in terms of preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative health care service in hospital and community health care settings. Additionally as a members of health team, the nurse perform the role of educator, counselor, advisor, supervisor and researcher as well.
The BNS program committed to produce competent, compassionate, and confident nursing professionals to meet the demands of today’s healthcare environment. Its curriculum is carefully designed to combine academic with practical exposure.

Eligibility
- Proficiency Certificate Level/ Diploma in Nursing securing at least 50% aggregate in total marks.

- Registered in Nepal Nursing Council.
