1. Bachelor's in Information Technology (BIT) - Tribhuvan University
Tribhuvan University launched a four-year bachelor degree program in information technology (BIT) in 2076 B.S. The program's goal is to provide students with theoretical concepts as well as practical IT training to prepare them for careers in IT and information services.  The entrance exam for admission will be administered by TU, and students must complete and submit forms prior to the exam. Students enrolled in Tribhuvan University's four-year BIT program must take foundation and core courses in information technology, as well as courses in mathematics, statistics, management, economics, sociology, psychology, research methodology, and technical writing, as well as some electives.  The BIT program is currently run by various constituent colleges under TU. Purbanchal University is Nepal's first university to offer a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) degree program. Purbanchal University's Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program is a four-year (eight semester) academic program with a curriculum designed to meet all increasing market demands by providing an in-depth and practical understanding of programming concepts, software design and development, as well as major operational and specialized aspects of computers.
