How to Prepare for Banking Exams in Nepal

The majority of bank exam questions are about English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.

A job in the banking sector is one of the most sought-after jobs in the country. With banks recruiting every year, thousands of candidates apply in exams conducted by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), Agricultural Development Bank (ADBL), Nepal Bank Limited (NBL), Rastriya Banijya Bank, and other private banks. To pass the bank exam, you must put in a lot of effort because the competition is getting stronger every year.

Many public and private sector banks in the country are expected to advertise for a number of Assistant, Officer, and Managerial level positions this year. The Lok Sewa Ayog (PSC) conducts the written examination for public sector banks, but the examinaton for private sector banks and financial institutions is either outsourced to several recruitment firms such as merojobdotcom, job dynamics, and others, or is administered by the bank itself.

The majority of bank exam questions are about English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Given this reality, we will look at how you might prepare for the exams at home and be well-prepared to pass them.

- Plan properly
The first thing you must do is plan. A thorough plan is essential since it ensures that no time is wasted. When creating the plan, keep in mind the exam schedule, syllabus, previous year's cutoff, and so on. Knowing about them will assist you in properly studying for the next tests by focusing on the areas that require improvement.

- Create a timetable.
The next step is to create a timetable. This will assist you in effectively organizing your time and covering a variety of topics throughout the day. Divide your timetable equally for each subject or according to your talents and abilities for each portion. This will assist you in covering practically everything.  It should be mentioned that in order to be considered for the position, you must get cut-off marks in each section of the exam.

- Learn from online resources
You should take advantage of as many online resources as possible. It will keep you up to date on recent events while also allowing you to grasp the strategies and methods used in answering questions without wasting too much time on any questions.

- Examine the full syllabus
When preparing for the exam, go over the full curriculum. This will ensure that you can simply answer any question on the exam. Because an exam has a wide range of questions, being prepared is essential.

- Practice
Another critical aspect is to practice as much as possible. The more you practice, the better you will become at answering questions. You can practice answering questions from mock tests by choosing a time limit. This allows you to keep track of time and answer as many questions as possible during the exam.

- Revise thoroughly
Once you believe your preparation is complete, thoroughly revise. Do not relax and continue to work hard on each section. It will ensure that there is no sluggishness.
