Rural Access Programme Phase 3, Mugu Humla Link Road

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES - ENGINEERS
RAP3 MHLR is a UK-Aid funded project implemented for the construction of the Mugu Humla Link Road and 2) to increase employment opportunities through emergency and specific maintenance on the province and local roads throughout Karnali Province to support Covid-19 relief and recovery efforts. It Is also 3) providing technical support to province and local governments in Karnali province to plan their own Covid-19 responses and recoveries and to manage the road maintenance works under its Covid-19 component.

RAP3 MHLR Civil Engineering Intern Positions
We are looking for some fresh graduates qualified as mentioned below, for a 6-month internship placement, to be stationed at any of the Karnali Province Districts.

Qualification Requirement:
> Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) from a recognized university
> Must possess good knowledge of spoken and written English
> Must be available to start in early Sept. 2020
> Preference will be given to those with no working experience since graduation

Candidates for the RAP3 MHLRCivil Engineering Internship must submit:
> An essay was written in good quality English and of no more than 500 words in your own words expressing original thought on "How road maintenance and construction works could continue to generate local employment adopting social distancing requirements to minimize Covid-19 virus infection risks."
> Curriculum Vitae listing your educational background and professional experience (if any).
> Scanned copy of transcript/mark sheet of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

A panel of experts from RAP3 MHLR will shortlist applications for interview. The decision to shortlist candidates lies solely with RAP3 MHLR and therefore cannot be challenged. The selected candidates will be entitled to a monthly stipend and allowances as per RAP3 MHLR Norms.
