Press Council Nepal is a statutory body set up by Government of Nepal to promote the standards of a free press in a democratic society and to advise the government on matters relating to the development of healthy and credible journalism in the country.

VACANCY NOTICE
Press Council Nepal invites application from eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Level positions. These vacant positions will be fulfilled by open and inclusive competitive written examination.

The details and requirements for candidates interested in these positions are as follows.

1. Assistant Level Fifth
- No. of vacancies: 1
- Level: 5th Level
- Educational Qualification: Certificate Level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, or passed Secondary Education Examination with a minimum D+ in each subject (theoretical and practical) of classes 11 and 12 and a GPA of 1.6.

2. Assistant Level Fourth
- No. of vacancies: 1
- Level: 4th Level
- Educational Qualification: SEE with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or passed SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

Key Details
- Type of Examination: Written, Information Technology Skill Test, and Interview.
- Examination Fee: Rs. 700/- (Seven Hundred) for Assistant Level Fifth and Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred) for Assistant Level Fourth.
- Contact Date: Will be published later in coordination with the Public Service Commission.
- Age Limit of Candidates: Should have completed 18 years and should not exceed 35 years for males and 40 years for females.
