The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is the nationally and internationally recognized umbrella organization of business in Nepal. Organized as a representative body of business organizations in the country; it represents the interests of private sector and is involved in promotion of socio economic development of Nepal through private sector led economic growth.

Agro Enterprise Center (AEC), the agricultural wing of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) was established in September 1991 under the Cooperative Agreement between FNCCI and USAID/Nepal. Within past fifteen years, FNCCI/AEC has made valuable contributions in Agro Business Development and Promotion. Since 01 October 2002, FNCCI/AEC has been re-shaped with more focused Mission and Vision and is taking a renewed role in re-presenting the private sector agribusiness community in the development of agriculture and agribusiness in Nepal.

Now AEC has been restructured to meet the expectations of emerging agro entrepreneurs, to go globally in agricultural issues and to enhance partnership between national and international agencies working together to foster agriculture sector.

FNCCI/AEC invites applications from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali Citizens) who are accountable, have the ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity:

1. Position: Program Development Specialist
> Required No.: 3 (Three)
> Term: Annual, with initial six-month’ probation period, and extendable based on satisfactory performance.

Description:
The position is mainly responsible for Identification and development of Strategic Project Proposals in the areas of agricultural Start-ups, agro Mechanization, Making sustainable income source to the youths and prospect entrepreneurs, utilization of remittance, engagement of migrant returnees to the enterprises, Livestock sector development activities. These strategic project proposals are expected to be readily implementable to meet the Agricultural Development Strategy, economic goals of provincial government and concerned national goals and policies. S/He is expected to prepare written materials (Concept Papers, Project Documents, Feasibility Study Reports, Business Plans, Directive & Guideline preparation, Research Studies, Training manuals, Project Agreement, Project Implementation Plan, and Annual Work Plans. etc.)

Eligibility:
> University degree (Masters) related to economic development, business administration, public administration, planning, political science, economics or agriculture.
> Demonstrated relevant professional work experience of at least five years in project management, including the leadership of multi-disciplinary expert teams and project financial administration and budgeting. Skilled in research, process facilitation, strategic planning, and partnership building.


2 Program Facilitator
> Required No. 1 (One)

Eligibility:
> University degree (Masters) relevant work experience of at least 3 years.

3. Account Officer
Required No. 1 (One)

Eligibility:
> University degree + relevant work experience of at least 5 years.


4. MIS Specialist
Required No. 1 (One)

Eligibility:
University degree preferred, However Diploma in Computer Science may also apply. (Companies or firms may apply with mentioning their HR capabilities.

5. Administrative Assistant
> Required No. 1 (One)

Eligibility:
> High School Diploma and/or demonstrated relevant work experience of at least 4 years.


6. Reception and Office Secretary
Required No. 1 (One)

Bachelor Degree+ relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
