United Mission to Nepal (UMN)

Position: Project Officer – Education (Mugu)
- No. of position: 1 (Woman Only)
- Location: Mugu

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the successful implementation of UMN’s education projects in the Mugu Cluster.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Social Sciences with a minimum of three years of working experience in the education sector, especially in Early Childhood Development (ECD), child-friendly teaching-learning, and quality education.
- At least three years of working experience in project management with a particular focus on Activity Based Learning (ABL), child-friendly education, Inclusive Education, Education in Emergencies (EiE), School Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), ECD, and systems to support effective programming.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of government education policies, programmes, priorities and issues related to school education in Nepal.
- Strong experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, partner management and proposal development.
- Excellent communication skills in both Nepali and English, written and verbal.
