Nepal Police is the national and primary law enforcement agency of Nepal. It is primarily responsible for maintaining law and order, prevention of crime and crime investigation within the jurisdiction determined by the Constitution of Nepal.

VACANCY NOTICE
Nepal Police Headquarters, (Human Resource Development Department, Career Development Directorate, Recruitment and Selection Branch), Naxal, Kathmandu invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens for the position of Technical Police Constable under various sub-groups within the Technical Police Group. The vacant position are to be fulfilled through an inclusive open competition. Applicants must personally submit their application with a ticket of Rs. 10 affixed.

Position: Technical Police Constable (Technical)

- Offices: Directorate of Information Technology,  Canine Office,Central Police Forensic Science Laboratory, Nepal Police Hospital,Directorate of Communication
- Sub-group: Engineering (Directorate of Information Technology), Canine- Dog Handler (Canine Office), Forensic  (Central Police Forensic Science Laboratory), Health (Nepal Police Hospital),  Engineering (Directorate of Communication)

Application Fee:
- General Fee: Rs. 300. For each additional group: Additional Rs. 60 (20% of the main fee)

Examination Process:
(a) Preliminary health check-up and physical fitness test.
(b) Detailed medical examination.
(c) Written examination (conducted by the Public Service Commission at designated centers).
(d) Practical examination (only for posts with relevant syllabus).
(e) Interview.

Age Limit:
Should have completed 18 yrs and should not exceed 23 years as of the last application date. For incumbent unranked police staff, applicants should not exceed 25 years (as per Police Regulation 2071, Rule 40 with amendments).
